The Eurasian CIS Legal Professionals’ Forum, in association with the BAR Council of England and Wales, recently held the English Law Day conference in Armenia. This event aimed to deepen ties between the legal industries in both jurisdictions. UK Ambassador John Gallagher welcomed the participants to the “English Law Day” conference, organized by the Forum, the British Embassy Yerevan, and the Bar Council of England & Wales.

The conference covered various important topics, such as private client considerations, sanctions implementation, asset tracing intricacies, arbitration practices, and matrimonial disputes. Esteemed British experts led the discussions, including:

In his address, the Ambassador stated, “London is renowned as the leading global centre for international legal services and dispute resolution. Networking Opportunities at the English Law Day Conference
Following the conference, a half-day session focused on construction disputes took place. This provided additional insights into the complexities of this area. Moreover, the event began with a networking opportunity funded by the DBT marketing and communications budget. This allowed participants to engage and form valuable connections.
