The British Council is the UK’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities. The British Council has been operating in Armenia since 2001, building connections, understanding and trust between people in the UK and Armenia through arts and culture, education and promotion of the English language. Every year British Council Armenia connects with thousands of students, educators, policymakers and artists and helps young people gain the skills, confidence and connections they are looking for to realise their potential and to participate in strong and inclusive communities. The organisation supports them to learn English, to get a high-quality education and to gain internationally recognised qualifications. British Council Armenia’s work in arts and culture stimulates creative expression and exchange and nurtures creative enterprise.
The Armenian British Business Chamber (ABBC) is an independent and self-sustainable business membership organisation, which promotes economic and business ties between Armenia and UK. ABBC is the first point of contact for UK companies interested to enter, invest, export or outsource to Armenia and Armenian companies with similar interests in the UK.
