Synopsys Expands CSR Award for Community Impact

ABBC member Synopsys announces its expanded CSR Award to honour exceptional community and sustainability contributions.

Synopsys is driving innovations that are transforming the way we work, live, and interact, helping to usher in the era of “Smart Everything.” However, the future can only be truly smart if it is sustainable, equitable, and secure. The company’s Smart Future Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program provides a structured approach to managing its operational impact while also encouraging others to contribute to a more just and sustainable world.

Since 1999, Synopsys has recognized employees who make a difference in local and global communities through its Community Champions initiative. These individuals contribute their time, energy, skills, and resources to improve the world around them. In keeping with its vision for a smarter, more sustainable future, Synopsys is expanding this initiative. The CSR Award will now replace the Community Champions Award, broadening its scope to include recognition for contributions not only to communities but also to the environment and broader sustainability efforts.

This expansion reflects Synopsys’ commitment to fostering positive social and environmental impact. By acknowledging employee efforts in these areas, the company aims to inspire even more meaningful action toward sustainability. As part of this initiative, Synopsys encourages its workforce to champion causes that align with its corporate values, from environmental conservation to social justice and community empowerment.

Through this enhanced recognition program, Synopsys seeks to build momentum for long-term, sustainable development, ensuring that its employees continue to lead by example. The company believes that innovation is most powerful when paired with responsibility—creating a smarter, safer, and more sustainable future for all.
