ABBC Executive Director participates in Women’s Club Launch event by European Business Association Armenia

On July 7, 2022, ABBC Executive Director Diana Gaziyan and Member Relations & Communications Intern Milena Petrosyan participated in the Women’s Club Launch Event organized by the European Business Association of Armenia. The event was attended by the female representatives of the diplomatic community, private sector, and international chambers of commerce operating in the country. The discussion was devoted to the topic of women’s participation in the social, political, and economic life of Armenia and the ways of how to best promote it. In her speech, Ms. Gaziyan presented the role of Armenian women in various aspects of Armenia`s development throughout history and mentioned the fact of the current increased participation of Armenian women in economic life of the country, including traditionally “male-dominated” economic sectors. The event was the first one in series of events aimed at encouraging women to assume more active roles in business, political, and social realms of Armenia.
