On June 29th, the ABBC Board of Directors held a meeting with Mr. Ben Aldred, Deputy Trade Commissioner for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, and Director of Trade for Turkey. This gathering was an important step in the mission to strengthen bilateral trade, boost investment, and enhance commercial diplomacy between Armenia and the United Kingdom. During the meeting, discussions covered key areas of collaboration and highlighted both markets’ opportunities.
The meeting provided valuable insights into the UK’s trade and investment priorities, especially in the Eastern European and Central Asian regions. By fostering a deeper understanding of these priorities, the discussions also aimed to identify strategic opportunities for Armenian businesses to engage with the UK market. The ABBC Board was able to emphasize the strengths of the Armenian market, advocating for stronger ties and mutual economic growth.
ABBC is deeply committed to enhancing the local business environment while improving bilateral economic and trade relations. This event underscores the continuous efforts of both the British Embassy in Yerevan and the ABBC Board of Directors to create meaningful opportunities for collaboration and progress in the region.
We extend our gratitude to the British Embassy and the ABBC leadership for their unwavering dedication to fostering a better business ecosystem for all involved. Their efforts ensure that Armenia remains a key player in the development of robust trade links with the UK.
